The following actions are possible to perform on this page:
- Create a new customer - then you pass the login details to the customer yourself
- Changing existing customer data
- Delete a customer - the customer is no longer shown and can no longer log in, but is still present in the database
- Log in as a specific customer
- Get access to the personalized documents - this concerns the low-res pdf files; high-res pdf files can be downloaded in theOrdersPage
- Getting access to the orders made
Creating a new customer
Click on the + to create a new customer. The following fields are then displayed:
The fields with an asterisk are required fields. If they are not filled in, it is not possible to store the data and a red asterisk will be shown next to the mandatory field that has not yet been filled in.
Generally:
First name*
Here the first name of the customer must be filled in.
Interconnection
A possible insert can be filled in here.
Last name*
Here the last name of the customer must be filled in.
Attachment
A salutation can be chosen here. There are two options: "Mr" and "Mrs".
Phone*
Here the telephone number of the customer must be filled in.
Fax
A fax number can be filled in here.
External customer number
This is necessary for a possible link with an
MIS system.
External contact
This is necessary for a possible link with an
MIS system.
VAT number
The VAT number of the customer can be entered here.
Group
Here you can select a group to which this customer belongs. By default, the first group in the list is pre-selected.
Language
Here a language can be selected in which the webshop must be shown by default for this customer. The user can still change the language in the webshop. The languages from which can be chosen in the
Institutionspage set.
Currency
Here, a currency can be selected with which the customer operates. The currencies from which you can choose from the
Internationalpage set under "Currency".
Account & Email:
Username
Here you can enter the username that the customer must use to log in.
When the customer data is stored for the first time, the email address entered will overwrite the username.
The username can be adjusted again by changing the customer data. If this does not happen, the e-mail address entered will have to be used by the customer to log in. The customer cannot change his/her username himself.
Password*
A (temporary) password can be entered here. The password is no longer visible after entering. Write them down and/or take it over to communicate to the customer. After the first time logging in, the customer can then adjust his/her password at 'My Data'.
Administrator
By ticking these, it is possible to give the customer rights in back office of the shop.

Subscribe to newsletter
The customer has given permission to receive a newsletter.
The creation of a newsletter is not supported by the shop and will have to be created and sent by its own software.
Shopping cart per session
This feature is for customers who want to log in with a shared account. The login details are then the same for these customers, but each of these customers will have their own shopping cart. By creating a separate session for the shopping cart, the customers do not see the products that others order in their own shopping cart, but other data is shared.
Email*
The customer's email address must be entered here. This is a mandatory field.
Email Cc
For the order and delivery confirmation, an additional e-mail address can be entered so that other people can also be kept informed.
Email Bcc
For the order and delivery confirmation, an additional e-mail address can be entered so that other people can also be kept informed.
Addresses:
Company name
Here you can enter the name of the customer's company.
T.a.v.
If communication with a specific department or person needs to be communicated, this can be completed here.
Postcode*
The customer's postcode must be entered here.
Number*
Here, the customer's house number must be filled in.
Address*
Here, the street name of the customer must be entered.
Location*
Here the customer's place must be filled in.
Country
Here the country can be selected from the customer. The available countries are in the
Internationalpage set under "Countries".
Province
Depending on the country, a province/state can be chosen here.
Changing customer details
Select the customer and click .. to change customer details or to fill in additional fields. The above fields are shown again, but the following additional fields are also available:
Alternative groups
One or more additional groups can be selected here. This allows a customer to be linked to multiple groups. After logging in, the customer can choose which group he/she wants to work in and can, after an order, also change groups to place an order from another group.
Watch out!
If there are products from different groups in the shopping cart, the order cannot be completed.
Data list fields
This option is associated with the use of the Docuboxx Generator.
Here, the customer's data can be entered so that it is automatically picked up in the Generator when, for example, the user wants to create a business card. The user no longer has to fill it in himself.
When clicking on the 'Change fields' link, a pop-up opens. A user data list field can be selected here. The available data lists correspond to the lists created on the
Data listspage. When a data list is selected, the corresponding field names will be displayed. By selecting a name field, the relevant fill-in fields are shown on the right where they can be filled with the customer's data.
Company/Office/Division
This option is associated with the use of the Docuboxx Generator.
Here, the customer's data can be entered so that it is automatically picked up in the Generator when, for example, the user wants to create a business card. The user no longer has to fill it in himself.
When clicking on the 'Change' link, a pop-up opens. Here, a company, branch or department can be linked to the user. The available companies, branches and departments correspond to the companies that
Companiespage has been created.
Addresses
Under the tab 'addresses' tab is the address stored during the creation of the customer. However, multiple addresses can be added and, if there are several, can also be removed.
By clicking on the 'Add an address' link, the fields are emptied and an additional address can be filled in. You can choose to designate this newly added address as 'Standard address' so that it is automatically chosen when ordering. The previous default address will then become the secondary address.
In the webshop, the customer can also add addresses as delivery address during ordering. These will also be listed here at the addresses.
