Formats (Telephone notations)


With 'Forms' it can be determined where, according to the corporate identity rules, the space should be placed for phone numbers and how a telephone number is structured.
Formats can have a national or international structure.

Create formats



Create a new set first.
In the left column, click New, enter a name at the top right, and click Save.

National telephone numbers

Then select the new set in the left column.
Now click on 'New' in the right column and enter a format here. Use an 'A' for the key number and an 'X' for the number.
For example, AA AA AA AA AA AA. Letters must be entered as capital (capital letters).
In the example above you get a space every two digits: 06 12 34 56 78.
Length is known number for a mobile 2.
Alert
This is a national number so do not check 'Delete optional zero'.
Click 'Save' and repeat this for phone numbers with a key number consisting of 3 and/or 4 digits.

International telephone numbers

If you should also use an international telephone number, create a set for these numbers.
Use an "I" for the country code.
You can also choose to place the zero in parentheses, but the zero can also be removed automatically by ticking 'Delete optional zero'.

For mobile, for example:
+II AA AA AA AA AA is +31 06 12 34 56 78
+II (X)X AA AA AA AA AA AA is +31 (0)6 12 34 56 78
+II AA AA AA AA AA AA becomes +31 6 12 34 56 78 when 'Delete optional zero' is checked.
The orderer will enter his/her number once. The chosen formatting ensures that the numbers are placed in the right places or removed. So in the case of 'Delete optional zero', then the orderer will have completed a zero, but it will be automatically deleted.
For the same reason, it is not recommended to use the following format: +II X AA AA AA AA AA. This may result in +31 0 61 23 45 67.

Alert
Watch out!
It is not possible to use the same key number twice in a set; so once 2 key numbers, once 3 key numbers, once 4 key numbers, etc.
If you use nationally and internationally, you get two sets.
We also advise you to create their own set for each customer.
