It is possible to create a list where the orderer can choose from to place in a publication during personalization.
For example, this could be a list of different functions for a business card.
Create a selection list
Go to the back office of the shop and under Field Format, select the Selection Lists:
The window below will open.
Click New under the left column (when the page opens and no list is selected yet, this is not necessary).
Under 'Name', enter the name of the list; for example, "Functions" and click 'Save'.
Select the new list and click 'New' at the bottom right column at the bottom right to fill the list.
Name
Enter the name of the item here. This is also the name that the orderer will see in the dropdown list.
Value
Please enter the full value here. This is what is posted in the publication.
Description
Here you can add a description for additional information. This is only shown here and is not visible to the orderer.
If it should also be possible not to post anything in the publication, it can be done in two ways:
- For example, by entering "Blanco" for the 'Name' and not filling in 'Value'.
- By filling in not filling in both fields and clicking save.
This creates a blank rule that can be chosen when, for example, no function needs to be placed on the business card.
Once the selection list has been created, it can be linked to a publication field with the field type 'List field' on the
Publicationspage.
Customize a selection list or item
It is possible to change a list name or the name and value of items by selecting them. The current values are then displayed in the fields below the columns. Here the values can be adjusted and stored.
Delete a selection list or item
It is possible to delete an entire list of items or some items by selecting a list or an item and clicking [Delete].
