The Asset Manager is an image bank that existsfrom albums with images available, by rightsIt is for a user of the shop. The images can be usedto share and download it, but also for the design ofGenerator product.
Management of the Asset Manager
AnWebportal/webshop administrator has allrights necessary to set up the Asset Manager andManage. This happens in front of the shop; not in the Backoffice.
Log in as an administrator in the portal and navigate toThe asset manager. An administrator also sees a gear icon for thissettings, to manage the groups and metadata, and theAbility to create albums.
It is possibleto create albums available to all groupsusers, but it is also possible to create albums that onlyIt is available to specific groups of users and here is one of theUsers to create administrators.
Create an album for all groups of users
Click on the plus in the bar:
Give the new album a name and a possible description in the pop-up.
Select metadata if it is present.
Click on 'Create album'.
Now an empty album is created where the images can be uploaded.
Inif there is metadata for searches on the images in thealbum must be added, a metadata set must be selected.Creating metadata sets is explained further down.
Add images to a new album
After creating an album, it is still empty:
ToAdd images to the album click on 'Upload'. Select inpop up the desired images and click on 'Open'. TheSelected images are uploaded to the album. The progressThe upload is displayed in the bar.
Add images to an existing album
Go to the album overview and select an album by clicking on the image.
Now the album will open with the already available images for this album:
ClickClick the 'Upload' button to upload new images. Select in thePop up the images you want and click 'Open'. TheSelected images are uploaded to the album. TheProgressThe upload is displayed in the bar.
Linking rights to an album
In the album overview, click the edit icon of the desired album to edit the album:
The following pop-up becomes visible:
Select"Public permissions" the desired permissions for the specific album.Albums can be shared at different levels:
Link an album to a group
In the album overview, click the edit icon of the desired album to edit the album:
In the pop-up under Group, select the desired group and under 'Permission' the desired permission for the group.
Click on 'Save'.
TheIt is also possible to link multiple groups to an album,Possibly with other rights. Click on the + icon next to"Group."
Watch out!
Whenan album has been made available to a group, then the generalalbum/public permission automatically set to 'View'. Other usersI will see the album too. Groups can have more rights.Get (Download/Duplicate/Contribute).
Institutions
Click the gear icon to manage the groups and metadata for the image bank.
Manage groups
StandardThe groups created in the Backoffice are synchronizedwith the asset manager. These groups are recognizable by the description"Synced Webshop group". Even when there are groupsIf they are created or modified, they will be synchronized. Theit is possible to create a group with the description "Synced Webshop group"delete it, but this will only be the case for the Asset Manager; theThe group will be retained in the back office.
InIf a synchronized group is removed, it can still beIt is re-synchronizing the group in theBackoffice of the portal at
Groups.
Create a new group
TheIt is also possible to create a group especially for theAsset manager. It is not synchronized with the groups in theBack office.
To create a new group, click Manage Groups. The following screen opens:

Click New to create a group, then fill in a name and description, and click Save at the top left.
Addadd one or more users to this group by email address orEnter the username and click 'Add'. TheUsers must be presentCustomers are in the back office of the shop. Is this not theIn case, or if a typo has been made, a notification will be displayed.
Standardis the user (with administrator rights from the shop) whoIt also creates the group manager and has all the rights necessaryFor itEstablish. It is possible to adjust this orAdd an additional administrator.
TheIt is possible to apply a filtering in the Asset Manager.This can be done by default on the name of an album or of an image.But when metadata is linked to the image, you can alsoIt is filtered.
To do this, a set of metadata fields must first be created. To create metadata, click the button with thegear.

Select 'Manage metadata' to access a new metadata setMake.
Click on 'New' to create a set.

Enter a name and description and click 'New' to add metadata to the set.
Enter a recognizable category name under 'Key', such as "Location".
At"Value" does not have to be filled in. Become nothing hereThis will remain empty when uploading new images andThis can be introduced. If something is filled in here, it will beby default as value when uploading an image, butIt can still be adjusted during uploading.
At'Description' can possibly be entered forclarity. This is not shown in the Asset Manager.
When the metadata set is completed completely and as desired, click on 'Save'.
Thenew dataset can also be assigned directly to one orSeveral albums. Click on 'Assign to album' and select thealbums for which this metadata must be filled in.
Watch out!
AnMetadata set can be assigned to multiple albums, but a metadata set can only beOneGet a specific album.coupled. If an album is assigned a different metadata set, thenThe previously assigned set is disconnected.
AtCreating a new album, the dataset can be selected.When images are uploaded for this album, theMetadata fields must be filled in. When there is more than oneThe image is uploaded at the same time, they all get the valuesas filled in.
Afterwards, the values of the images per image can still be changedby navigating to the image, on the 'Meta Data' tabClick and then click on the edit icon:

ToAdd, remove or modify metadata to a set, goGo to 'Manage Metadata' and click Edit Metadata. After theChanges click on 'Save'.
Make an album available for a Generator Product
ToMake an album available to generator orderers from a Generatorproduct, it must be public and linked to a publication.
Change album rights
GoGo to the album overview and click on the edit icon of the desiredalbum to change the rights of the album. Select in the pop-upOne of the following permissions: Download, Duplicate or Contribute.
Linking album to publication
AtEstablishing the publication for the Generator product must bealbum is linked to an image web field (for more informationAbout the creation of publications click
Here).
SelectThe image field to which the album is linkedmust be. Click on 'Image lists', select the album (thealbums of the Asset Manager are recognizable because they pressesIt is displayed) and save the data. The selected albums and/orImage lists are now available for this orderer field.
Search in Asset Manager
Search on multiple criteria
AtThe establishment of multiple criteria will be shown thatmeets at least one of the criteria. Values can besplit with spaces, commas, double points or semicolons.
Example
A search with the criteria:Red, Velour:thick;French Ferdinandwill show all the results in which 'red', all resultswhere 'velour', all results in which 'thick' occurs, all results in which 'French' occurs, andall results in which the term "Ferdinand" is present.
Search by specific criteria
If there is a search term where the results should beThis can be found by providing a '+' for the criteriaPutting. The values that come back then all contain the value ofthe "+" stands for, and at least one of the regular criteria.
Example
A search with the criteria:Red Velour +FrenchIt now gives everything that contains 'French' and 'red', but also everything that contains 'French' and 'velour'.
Search with excluded criteria
If there is a search term that should NOT appear in search results, thenThis can be achieved by setting a '-' for the criteria. The valuesThey return will contain none other than the exclusive criteria.
Example
A search with the criteria:Red -velour +French thickNow gives everything that contains 'Thick' and 'French', and everything that contains 'red' and'French' contains, but none of the results will have the word 'velour'contain.
Search with literal criteria
If there is a search term that is from multiple words or conflicting charactersIf there is a literal value of it.Put in quotation marks. Some andDouble quotation marks can both be used as long as they are inCouples are used.
Example
A search with the criteria:Thea+ral scentIt would normally yield values with 'ral' and without 'greasing', but byquotation marks to be used, this can be remedied.
A search with the criteria:"Thea+beam" "sake"Now delivers all the results with 'Thea+ral' or 'greaser' in it.
WhenIf a search is performed, the search results openpage. Here are all results matching the search criteria to beSee, divided into images and albums. If desired, theimages or albums from the results are filtered bybuttons on the left side of the page.
To filter inThe images shown can be the relevant albumselected. Then images in other albums areThen the selected(s) filtered out.
By clicking on the binoculars icon, the search criteria are shown. There are three types:
- With label icon - one of the criteria should be included in the results
- With + icon - images with these criteria should appear in the results
- With - icon - images with these criteria are excluded
A criteria can be removed by clicking on the cross in front of it.
Private and shared albums
ForAll users are possible to create private albums. As long asIf the album has the permission 'None', it is only for him/hervisible in the image bank. But an album owner can alsoshare album with others by adjusting the album permission of None,to one of the other permissions. It is also possible to, insteadof everyone, share the album with a specific group by aSelect group and give it the desired permissions.
