Coupons

Coupons are special discount codes that can be created for an additional discount. For example, it is possible to keep discount promotions for a certain group of customers via the webshop. By providing coupon codes to these customers, they can purchase products through the webshop at a discount. It is of course also possible to send the coupon code by newsletter or make it accessible to the entire webshop.

Here coupon codes can be created (+) and changed by selecting a coup bong group. It is possible to have several coupons run simultaneously.

Fixed coupon code

When this option is selected, a code can be entered yourself. You can then specify how many users can use this coupon or that it is for an unlimited number of users.

Coupon code

This is the code that must be entered by the customer in step 1/5. The code may consist of numbers and letters and is not case sensitive.

Value

Here the discount rate or discount amount is entered. In the dropdown menu you can choose from 'Percentage' or 'Reduce'. For a percentage, a percentage value of the total amount decreases. When a reduction is chosen, a fixed amount of the total price goes off.

From-to

This is the validity of the coupon. If the "Always Valid" option is checked, the coupon will not have an end date.

Applies to shipping costs

When this option is checked, the coupon value will also apply to the shipping costs.

Keep coupon value

When checked, and the orderer does not use the full coupon amount with the order, the residual value will be saved for a subsequent order.

When unchecked, and the orderer does not use the full coupon amount when ordering, the residual value expires and the user cannot use this coupon code again.

Max. Number of users to activate (Multiple users)

Here you can indicate how many users can use the coupon. If there is no limit to the number of coupons that may be used, 'Unlimited' can be checked. In the latter case and when more than 1 is entered as number, then 'Multiple Users' says "Yes".

Product coupon

Here, after saving the coupon, articles to which the coupon applies can be selected. If there are multiple products in a customer's shopping cart, with 1 discount from the coupon, the discount will also only be charged on this product. The code can be applied and the webshop knows what the discount should be calculated on.

Generated code

When the option is selected, there are some fields different.

Coupon pattern

Here a code is generated by the system. This can then be adjusted. Then the number of coupons can also be entered.

Number of coupons

Here, a limit can be indicated how often the coupon can be used. When the number of coupons has been used, the code will become invalid.

Value

Here the discount rate or discount amount is entered. Above the fill field, you can choose from 'Fixed value (Incl. VAT)' and 'Percentage of service costs'. For a percentage, a percentage value of the total amount decreases. When a fixed value is chosen, a fixed amount of the total price goes off.
