Albums and folders

Albums
Within Kiliman, a collection of assets is called an album. These albums relate properties and rights are associated with these albums.



folders
Within an album, folders can be used to further group assets.
No albums can be created in albums, but folders in folders.



Assets can be in an album or in a folder.
Albums and folders show the number of assets. The number of folders is not indicated.Folders are the first to appear in the overview.


The folder names are shown in the "crumb path" above the images. You can click here to immediately go back to a desired level.

Removing
You delete albums or folders by choosing the editing menu on the album or folder in Outline view.
Watch out! Remember that all content has been deleted when the folder is deleted.





If assets are present in the folder where the assets have a retention period that has not yet expired, deleting the folder will not be possible and an error message will be displayed.
